Dr. Joseph Roberson is usually able to begin promptly at the scheduled time. If he is ever going to be late, the patient will be notified in advance, if at all possible. If the session must begin late because of the therapist's schedule, the session will still normally be for the full session length or fees will be reduced to match a shortened session.

If the patient arrives late for an appointment, it will still usually be necessary for the session to end at the regular time because other patients will usually be scheduled for the next hour. The charge for these shortened therapy sessions will be for the full amount of a regular session. There will be no charges for a canceled session if the therapist is notified at least 24 hours in advance. There may be charges up to the full regular fee if a patient fails to keep a scheduled appointment and does not notify the therapist 24 hours ahead of time.  Continuity in session topics and a fair working relationship are important in therapy.
